REPRESENTING IRELAND

While the summer usually means a break from club activities, it doesn’t stop the Irish Photographic Federation to be involved in International Competitions.
This year was no different. The IPF once again took part in FIAP organised competitions and a few members of Athlone Photography Club were fortunate enough to have their work chosen to represent Ireland, a first for the club.

Congratulations to Anthony Demion whose image entitled “The Arch” was chosen as part of the Irish Panel sent to Indonesia for the 28th FIAP Projected Image Biennial 2015. Ireland finished joint 14th with Croatia.

Congratulations to Liam Kidney whose image entitled “Natural Beauty” was chosen as part of the Irish Panel for the Celtic Challenge 2015, category Projected, in which Ireland finished runner-up.
