AND THE WINNERS ARE…

The Print & Projected Images and Nature Round Finals took place in Kilkenny last weekend. All photographers who managed qualification through their respective Regional rounds battled it out on various genre and theme and Athlone Photography Club managed to come home with three Prizes.

Congratulations to Alan Hunt for collecting a first prize medal in the Colour Print “Still Life” and a Honourable Mention in the Mono Print Open category and to Henry Yee for collecting a First Prize medal in the Projected Open “Landscape” category.

On top of it, congratulations to Anthony Demion and Paul Doran for meeting the High Score Mark and therefore having their images available to represent Ireland at International Competition.

Well done to all involved at Athlone Photography for entering and we all look forward to renewed success in next year event. Finally, many congratulations to Sharon Rankin, Terry Conroy and Seamus Rowan from Portlaoise Camera Club on their own respective successes. The Mid-West region is full of talented photographers.
